* All riders must purchase a wristband to race. You will not race if you don’t have your wristband on.
** All spectators must purchase a wristband for the entire weekend. If staying for only 1 day you will be refunded for the remaining days once you leave the track.

RIDER CHECK IN:
All riders are required to check in before practice starts on Sept. 3rd, Saturday morning. Riders will receive their practice tickets, free t-shirt and weekend race schedule. Riders will not practice if they do not check in. No exceptions.
Rider check in will be open the following times.
Fri., Sept. 2nd: 2pm - 8pm
Sat., Sept. 3rd: 6am - 8am
TEAM GUIDELINES:
- Team can be sponsored by anyone.
- Sponsor can have multiple teams.
- Up to 14 classes per team - example: 7 riders x 2 classes.
- Up to 3 riders in the same class per team.
- Riders can only ride for 1 race shop/sponsor.
- Rider can ride on multiple teams within his team sponsor.
- Rosters must be filled out completely & clearly.
- Team rider lists will be available online.
- Riders names / classes / numbers must be correctly filled out.
- No team roster changes once submitted.
- Rosters are due by Saturday, September 3rd by 9am.
- No exceptions will be made.
SCORING:
There will be a contact person and a form to fill out for issues and problems regarding the scoring. Please do not disturb the lap checkers and scorers; you will be disqualified if you create any problems. Please make sure you check results when posted. You will have 30 minutes from time results are posted to file a protest. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS.
TOP GUN POINTS: (per class, per moto)
1st-25, 2nd-22, 3rd-20, 4th-18, 5th-16, 6th-15, 7th-14, 8th-13, 9th-12, 10th-11, 11th-10, 12th-9, 13th-8, 14th-7, 15th-6, 16th-5, 17th-4, 18th-3, 19th-2, 20th-1
Everyone after 20th place will receive one point.
*For the overall team points we will be taking each team’s best 36 moto finishes out of the team’s 42 moto finishes. That means we will be dropping each team’s worst 6 moto finishes.
CLASS REGULATIONS:
Riders that finished in the top 3 placing in the Beginner or Junior classes at previous Top Gun events can not ride the same class. Rider classification protests must be accompanied with proof of competing in a higher class. ALL PROTESTS WILL BE KEPT CONFIDENTIAL. Only exception: Riders can not be forced to move into the professional class.

Race schedule will be posted online. Practice will be on Saturday only for all classes. Race schedule will run continuously each day to a certain time.

MX FOR CHILDREN / BRANDON LAYTON MEMORIAL RAFFLE:
Every year at the Top Gun Motocross Team Shootout we hold a “benefit raffle”. All proceeds from the raffle will be donated to MX for Children. Check back for a list of items we are raffling off.
Tickets: $1.00 per ticket
GOON NATIONALS 2011:
“Goon National” will be held on Sunday, Sept. 4th evening at approx 7pm. Sign up will be a first come first serve. We will be allowing approximately 30 riders to sign up. The theme will based on “MILITARY”. Riders will be judged on creativity, originality and goon skills. All riders and outfits must be PG-13 appropriate, you will be asked to leave not doing so. The top 3 riders will receive a Top Goon Trophy. All participants will receive an honorary GOON NATIONALS Limited Edition T-Shirt. No bonus points will be awarded.
FACTORY PIT AWARD:
We will be presenting the Top 3 team with a FACTORY PIT AWARD Trophy. Pits will be judged from 12pm-4pm on Sunday. Pits will be judged on professionalism, uniqueness and creativity. This is a great way to get your team involved. The factory big rigs rely on teamwork day in/day out to keep their team functioning properly. GOOD LUCK! No bonus points will be awarded.

Winning team will be presented with the prestigious “Top Gun” billet trophy on Monday after racing and scoring conclude. We will announce the winners and present them with their awards. The “Top Gun” trophy will remain with the winning team until the next years “Top Gun Team Shootout”.

North or South I-5 take the I-205 off ramp and then at Vancouver take the eastbound sr-14 exit. Proceed east approximately 6 miles to Washougal and then take a left at the 15th street signal. Stay on this street and soon it crosses the Washougal River after which it is called Washougal River Road/sr-140. Proceed carefully (curvy) up Washougal River Road for approximately 6.5 miles. At this point off to your left you will see Hughes/Bear Prairie Road heading diagonally up a steep hill. Turn left onto this road and proceed up the hill for about 1 mile and then turn right onto Borin Road. Travel down this paved road for about 2 miles where you will find the entrance to the track clearly marked.
